600 seismometers help UNM scientists study magma
You might be heading to a national park this summer for fun, but UNM scientists who are leading a team of researchers at Yellowstone National Park have been busy working at one of the country’s most iconic spots. The team is looking to answer questions about how deep the magma chamber underneath Yellowstone is, and they’ve have been using some novel imaging techniques to do so.
