Describe your research in about 200 words.

My research predominantly focuses on three broad streams: corporate sustainability, corporate governance, and innovation. It investigates how different corporate governance mechanisms, processes, and structures impact corporate sustainability and innovation. The aim is to advance the understanding of corporate governance, corporate sustainability, and innovation by providing empirical evidence and theoretical insights that inform policy-making and managerial practices. This work contributes to the development of governance frameworks that promote ethical behavior, transparency, and accountability, ultimately leading to more resilient and sustainable organizations.

What’s the most interesting thing you have learned from a student?

One of the most valuable insights gained from a student is the profound way in which lived experiences can reshape the understanding of theory. This perspective reinforces that academic frameworks are enriched when grounded in real-world contexts and that students’ unique viewpoints often reveal nuances that may otherwise be overlooked by scholars.
