UNM Faculty Lightning Lounge 02/19/2025

Hear from four University of New Mexico branch campus faculty members about their research in 7-minute presentations during this Lightning Lounge event.

 

This month’s event featured faculty members from UNM’s branch campuses. The speakers were Andisheh Dadashi, an assistant professor of computer science, statistics and math at UNM-Valencia, whose talk was Evolutionary Basis of Rapid Phenotypic Evolution of Polygenic Traits in Changing Environments; Jerry Godbout, an associate professor of chemistry at UNM-Valencia, whose talk was Crystalline Glazes: a Chemist Tried to Help Out Some Artists; Roseanna McGinn, MBA-HCA and RHIT, director of the Health Information Technology program at UNM-Gallup, whose talk was Healthcare Administration Industry Trends: an Epistemological Argument for Designing an Effective Approach for Using Newer Technologies; and Kirstie Segarra, a senior lecturer II and program coordinator for structural integration at UNM-Taos, whose talk was The Efficacy of Somatic Touch in the Female Bodied with PTSD/CPTSD.
