UNM Faculty Lightning Lounge 11/10/21

 

Hear from four University of New Mexico faculty members about their research in 7-minute presentations during the Lightning Lounge event.

 

The November 2021 speakers at the Lightning Lounge were: Ranita Ray, an associate professor of Sociology whose presentation was “Violent Schools,” K. Joseph Ho, a research professor of Chemistry whose presentation was “In Pursuit of Meaningful (Lab) Learning,” José M. Cerrato, an associate professor of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering  whose presentation was “Uranium Mining Legacy in Native American Lands,” and Llewelynn Fletcher, an assistant professor of Art Studio, History and Education whose presentation was “Material Impact: Sculpture as a Method Towards Enhanced Receptivity.”
