Advance postpones spring workshops, hosts others online

Hi everyone,

We hope this finds you ok during these unsettling moments.

If you need us while UNM has limited operations, we’re still here to help. If you’d like to have a phone call or virtual meeting, you can request it by emailing us directly, emailing advance@unm.edu or through drop us a line. If you have questions or concerns about how COVID-19 closures are impacting you or your students and want to ask them anonymously, you can do so here. We’ll post answers to questions of general interest as quickly as we can.

You can also get updates from UNM, the City of Albuquerque, and the New Mexico Department of Health.

Meanwhile, you should know that we’ve made changes to our workshop schedule as well. Our spring events are either postponed or will take place online, and are listed below. If you’ve registered, you’ll receive an email through our EventBrite system or through the advance@unm.edu email address. As always, you can see event recaps on our homepage.

Also, we’re moving the  submission deadline for Women in STEM proposals from April 6th to April 20th. Please contact us if you have questions.

Teaching online for the first time? Be sure to see our compilation of helpful resources. (We also included things for children to do online while schools are closed.)

Don’t hesitate to contact us. Take care!

Julia and the ADVANCE Team
