Describe your research in about 200 words.
As a lecturer, I won’t be expected to research, but my previous research was centered on simulations of electronic markets. I focused on how various automated shopping and pricing strategies affected the evolution of markets. I also examined the use of neural networks to identify competitors’ pricing strategies to drive the choice of most effective counter-strategy.
What’s the most interesting thing you have learned from a student?
That he was a bounty hunter.
