Your background in academia:

Christopher Erwin is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of New Mexico. At UNM he has taught courses in Math Tools for Economists, Intermediate Microeconomics, and Intermediate Econometrics. His research lies at the intersection of labor and higher education. Specifically, Erwin is co-author on a study of how the New Mexico Legislative Lottery Scholarship affects graduation rates for participating students. He is also studying the long-term trend of increasing time to baccalaureate degree in the United States, and the implications of this trend on labor market outcomes. Erwin is also interested on how debt burden in college affects the likelihood of future skill mismatch. In addition to his dissertation research, Christopher is Research Policy Analyst at the Center for Education Policy Research at UNM and serves as a committee analyst for the New Mexico Legislature.
