Dr. Elizabeth Yakes Jimenez is a pediatric registered dietitian with a B.S. in human nutrition and an M.S. in public health nutrition from Case Western Reserve University, and a Ph.D. in epidemiology from the University of California, Davis. Her research is focused on the prevention and improved treatment of micronutrient deficiencies, obesity and diabetes, substance use disorders and sexually transmitted infections, with a particular focus on underserved maternal, infant/child and adolescent populations. She has expertise in design and implementation of community-based research and evaluation studies.
