Kate created the Advance at UNM multimedia communication internship program. She is a multimedia communication educator who loves all things technology related. Her bachelor’s degree is in journalism and Spanish and she has a master’s degree in digital journalism and design. Her interests include the intersection of communication and technology as well as instructional design and e-learning development. Her most recent publication is for the journal Teaching Journalism and Mass Communication and looks at the importance of iteration and agility in digital communication education programs.
