Hear from four University of New Mexico branch campus faculty members about their research in 7-minute presentations during this Lightning Lounge event.

 

The February 2024 speakers at the Lightning Lounge were: Sarah Llanque-White, an associate professor of nursing at UNM Gallup, whose talk is Integrating Navajo (Dine) Culture and Ways of Life into Nursing Case Studies; Julia Wai-Yin So, a professor of sociology at UNM Valencia, whose talk is A Path to Course Success: Mentoring & Monitoring; Keri Stevenson, an associate professor of English at UNM Gallup, whose talk is For the Birds: Reading Avian-Centered Texts as Evidence of Multi-species Community; and Peter Walker, faculty in film and digital media arts at UNM Taos, whose talk is Making Media in the Age of AI: Distractions and Opportunities
