The February 2023 speakers at the Lightning Lounge were: Kristian Simcox, Associate Professor, Philosophy and Religion at UNM-Gallup, whose presentation was “Post-Enlightenment Thought in the Time of Ecological Crisis;” Peninah D. Wolpo, Lecturer III, Classics and Division Chair, Fine Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences at UNM-Los Alamos, whose presentation was “Using Low-Stakes Assignments to Improve Work Flow;” Colin Nicholls, Chair, Science Department at UNM Taos, whose presentation was “STEM-Ready: An NSF Project to Shift Skills & Mindset of Developmental Math Students,” and Barbara Lovato, Library Director and Principal Lecturer III at UNM-Valencia, whose presentation was “UX in Academic Libraries: What it Means for Teaching Librarians.”
