Describe your research in about 200 words.

My research interests primarily involve library instruction. Some particular areas of focus include how library sessions contribute to the success of course-based research assignments and gamification. I’m also interested in enhancing the effectiveness of communication between subject specialist/liaison librarians and the communities they serve.

What’s the most interesting thing you have learned from a student?

I learned that prairie dogs in the western United States can carry plague (this was prior to coronavirus).
