STEM Shoutout: Dr. Eirini Eleni Tsiropoulou

UNM faculty chosen to present research at the 2019 IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications

Dr. Eirini Eleni Tsiropoulou from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has been selected as a panelist to participate in the 2019 IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications (IEEE INFOCOM 2019). IEEE INFOCOM is a highly ranked conference with an acceptance ratio of less than 20 percent, according to Tsiropoulou.
 
Dr. Tsiropoulou will be presenting 3 of her research papers as a distinguished panelists for the N2Women association during the IEEE INFOCOM conference. N2Women association organizes panels in the top IEEE communications and computing conferences to promote, discuss and share experiences of female researchers in the field of academia and industry. According to Dr. Tsiropoulou

 IEEE INFOCOM is aimed toward the subject of computer networks and engineering in the research community.  Its main goal is to serve as a venue for researchers to present and exchange innovative contributions and ideas in the field of networking and engineering according to IEEE.
The 2019 IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications will be held April 29th- May 2nd in Paris, France.
